NEWSLINE PAPER,- IAs the humanitarian crisis in Gaza worsens, the US Navy has begun work on a massive floating dock off the coast of the area. According to the Department of Defense, the goal of this strategic action is to make it easier to get crucial humanitarian supplies to oppressed people.
When completed in early May, the floating dock will be a critical hub for receiving humanitarian supplies from Cyprus. The items will be loaded onto trucks and delivered across Gaza via a temporary bridge connected to the coastline.
In March, President Joe Biden introduced this program as part of a larger campaign to tackle the horrific hunger that is engulfing Gaza.
